Automatically Import Applications

In case you don't already have an Installer Analytics account and you have created a public application, you have another option to import your application. You have to:

1. Go to Advanced Installer
2. Open the project on which you want to enable Installer Analytics
3. Go to Installer Analytics view and check the 'Track installs using Installer Analytics' checkbox if it's not already checked
4. Click on 'Sign-up to extend trial'

Once clicked, you'll be directed to the register page with the ID of the application you are about to import hardcoded at the bottom of the form. You can see it in the 'Take ownership of this application' field. Once you have successfully registered, the application will be automatically linked to your account. Thus, you'll become its owner and as a result, it will now become a private application.

In the Installer Analytics view from Advanced Installer, you can also generate a new public application by pressing on the 'Reset' link, or you can use another public application's ID by changing it manually from the 'Code' field.

Please note that you can use this import method only for public applications. You cannot import private applications.
